gompers Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 I was wondering if it can be done easily, as far as I know the only main difference is that the '83 tank is somehow set up to use the digital dash and my '79 has the regular dash. I can't find any nearby for my year but I found an '83 tank in perfect condition. ZXR_KiD Posted April 19, 2014 Share Posted April 19, 2014 the digital/analog uses the same sending unit, the only real difference other than the dash itself is the harness to the dash, wich will direct swap.should be just fine with plugging it into the car and going.
