Domzs
Got theses covers from a HybridZ member , SOCOROB . Overpaid for them . JK Before . As you can see , he didn't even bother to paint them before shipping . JK Removed " GTO " logo . Painted black . Playing around with " 280Z " fender emblem . Trimmed to fit my setup . White base coat . Almost done , still waiting for " 280Z " fender emblems .
OldAndyAndTheSea
This is definitely on my list of things to try next. Awesome! How durable is the finish? And I love the 280z emblem. That'll really make it look nice.

That'll really make it look nice. Thanks . Only time will tell . Have seen people dipped valve covers and oil pans , which are subjected to more heat than my coil covers . A little tricky to do , it takes practice . Hopefully , my next set will turn out a little better .
socorob
I thought about doing that but didn't have the time. I was gonna put Datsun on one side and 280z on the other. That's gonna look good.

PLATA
Can you share how you got that clean red/black/silver look on the side emblems .
Domzs
Can you share how you got that clean red/black/silver look on the side emblems . Actually, pretty easy . I used Scotch brite pad ( brown ) to remove the old paint , down to the chrome . Taped up and sprayed gloss black . Put on red vinyl then trimmed out the " 280Z " .

Domzs
Covers on motor . I might have to pull the motor and do some detail work in the engine compartment , maybe later . . Wonder if I have to do something with intake to complement the coil covers .

Boy from Oz
Why not label it a '570Z' ?
Domzs
Why not label it a '570Z' ? Should have , right . I was going to put " 5.7 LS1 " ( eBay emblem ) in front of " 280Z " but I think that's just too much going on in a small space .
