Got theses covers from a HybridZ member , SOCOROB . Overpaid for them . JK :-D

 

Before . As you can see , he didn't even bother to paint them before shipping . JK :-D

Awesome! How durable is the finish?

 

And I love the 280z emblem. That'll really make it look nice.

Thanks . Only time will tell . Have seen people dipped valve covers and oil pans , which are subjected to more heat than my coil covers . A little tricky to do , it takes practice . Hopefully , my next set will turn out a little better .

Can you share how you got that clean red/black/silver look on the side emblems .  :confused: 

Actually, pretty easy . I used Scotch brite pad ( brown ) to remove the old paint , down to the chrome . Taped up and sprayed gloss black . Put on red vinyl then trimmed out the " 280Z " .

I might have to pull the motor and do some detail work in the engine compartment , maybe later . :D .

Wonder if I have to do something with intake to complement the coil covers .
