johnc
> sitting for a year... no rust The above two terms do not go together. $2,500 for a clean, all the parts are there, running 240Z is reasonable. But I'm willing to bet money there's rust in the car.
Guest Anonymous
$2500.00 LOL Look at the situation this way...from following the posts on this website it appears that people find rusted cars so the they can spend countless hours ($) with the Z removing every part and replacing the rusted sheet metal on the rotiserie. Just depends on what you believe and how you want to spend time and money for a dream. There are rust free old Z cars out there and you might be the lucky one to obtain a chosen few. Within in a year you will know if your $2500 was well spent by the cost or lack there of incurred. My idea is to buy them for $400.00 and slowly spend $2500.00 on them to maintain a conversation piece in the garage.

Guest 240Zduz10s
JOHNC: would you like some pics? its not rusty.. i wouldnt have bought it if it was a piece of garbage
Mikelly
I'm cheap... Just ask anyone who hears of the sick deals I find... $2500 for that car doesn't sound bad if there is no rust on the floor pans, battery box, or other ussual areas and it runs well. Mudge
Sometimes spending a little more up front is worth it, I think alot of the time your finds depend on how desperate someone is to get rid of thier car.
