S13/240z Coilover Conversion Cost

I am looking to do the typical s13 swap and plan to use either the McKinney or Garagetastic conversion kit to make them fit.I will most likely be using the emusa coilovers but make save up the extra dough for the megans. I hope I am not being redundant but I haven't seen it specifically asked what the price woyuld be to get this done specifically. Past buying the kit and coilovers how much cash will i need to hand over the shop to weld in these pieces? (front and rear tubes/camber plates). I am told the best way to have these TIG welded but also horror stories of those welds being insufficient and breaking (which I really doubt would happen for my purposes, just a thought.)

 

Also if anyone knows of a good welder in the San Diego area that too would be appreciated.Thanks in advance

Why would you do this if there's various S30 kits out there already at great prices.

I am at $1,700 with my stance setup from sakura garage installed and everything including cutting blades and everything.

there really is no need to do s13 conversions anymore, as the s30 suspension aftermarket seems to have increased in the last few years thanks to a few companies, jpngarage/bc racing, technotoytuning, arizonazcar, sakuragarage/stance .

 

Sure you may save a few hundred bucks going cheap s13 coilover route, but you better have a little more fabrication skills.
