Sovereign Z
You're going to ruin a prefect car in the snow and salts?

rturbo 930
You're going to ruin a prefect car in the snow and salts? Sorry, but I gotta agree. That Civic is too nice to drive in the salt. Get a better (read:worse) winter beater. I cringe any time I see a nice old car out in the salt.
PLATA
^^^^ The JDM is a popular term given to old Civics , it has the semi old Nippon look and not many around , I know as many here what JDM means . As far as the rusting an old tin can , this one has the dealer rust inhibitor ,came from the Washington DC/ Baltimore area( also where I reside ) where salt is not in abundance . My Z is in her dorm during the winter months and my 14 Stang is a pain in the a$$ to wash in the winter , so a dedicated car is at play. Administrators RTz Posted December 15, 2014 Administrators Share Posted December 15, 2014 ^^^^ The JDM is a popular term given to old Civics... No doubt by a bunch of kids. It's dumb. I also use a 4th gen. Civic as a winter beater - 3 seasons now. It's not nearly as nice as yours with almost 4 times the miles on the clock. It's does fine on the flats but it's not the best at climbing snow covered hilly roads. I've driven better RWD cars for that. I keep it shoe'd with snow's year round. i-Pikes the first couple of seasons. They sucked. Blizzaks this year have been much better.
