mutantZ
I cracked my air injection piping and I ass-umed that the bolts for the air injection tubes would be an easy find so I removed them. Does anyone have any idea what size they are? I found this thread on zcar, but the sizes that were listed was much too small. http://www.zcar.com/forum/10-70-83-tech-discussion-forum/116053-air-injection-removal.html I tried a 1/4 NPT steel fitting but it was much too small (diameter) to fit. I went to Lowes and the thread pitch seemed to match a 3/8 pipe plug, but it was a touch too wide. If the plug was metric I suspect it would've fit. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried a whole bunch of bolts with no luck. It's for a 260z manifold if that makes any difference. Thanks for any help.
NewZed
It's probably BSPT, British Standard Pipe Thread. That's what Nissan used on many of the engine port threads, the oil pressure sender, for example. http://www.ralstoninst.com/news/story/the-difference-between-npt-bspp-and-bspt-seals/
mutantZ
Would you happen to know if they use metric sizing or is it still standard sizing?
NewZed
Standard. British Standard. Click the underlined blue letters.
