Zisionquest
Hi, Can someone tell me Where the 83 L28et distributor round plug connect to? Thanks, Chris
La260z
Into the EFI harness. There is only 1 plug that looks like that, and would be impossible to mistake.
Zisionquest
The connector on my EFI harness must ha a different plug inplace. Will double check. Thank you so much.
Zisionquest
Obviously, my EFI harness is not a turbo harness. I have to hunt for one now. What a pain.
Chickenman
What are you running for an ECU? Some form of stand alone system? You can easily swap out they round plug for Deutsch connectors or a 4 pin Weatherpack. The pin-outs are easy enough to find and I'm sure I've posted them somewhere before. Zisionquest
^ I'm running a stock JDM 280zxet ecu. Yesterday, I told my mechanic to swap out the round plug for any generic plug or just solder the wires together and bypass the plug. On to a different topic, I read on here and other sites that the 280zx brake booster will work on the 240z if you remove the aluminum spacer and turn it up-side-down. Well, it doesn't fit at all on my '72 240z. 1. The spacing of the studs on the 280zx booster are too wide. 2. The booster itself is too wide and hitting the clutch cylinder. So, my question is will an 8.5" '75-'78 280z brake booster works without any modification? Below is one I have in mind: 1975-1978 Nissan 280Z Brake Booster - A1 Cardone 53-5104 Click to Enlarge (1 Reviews) 5 Stars Our List Price:$90.33 Core Price [?]: $22.50 Quantity: Select Year 1975 1976 1977 1978 In Stock Availability: (7) In Stock Condition: Remanufactured Shipping Options: Ground Part Number: 53-5104 Brand: A1 Cardone Notes: Vacuum Booster -- Remanufactured; Without Master Cylinder; with 8-1/2" Diameter Booster
