RoundtopsCarbs
I'd love to answer some questions from members about these carbs, what do you got? Also, picking up the air cleaner adapter plates from the machine shop today. Exciting! I'll post some pics a little later on! EDIT: Here's some pics of the prototype adapters fresh from the machine shop. Please excuse the rusty air cleaner Edited April 4, 2018 by RoundtopsCarbs added pics

juxsa
What are the differences between this style over the regular round top su?
RoundtopsCarbs
Great question! The biggest difference is the enclosed enrichment valve which helps tremendously in a cold start scenario. New materials allow for ethanol mixed gasoline without the worry of wearing out the carb prematurely. They're configured with a flow through fuel bowl, it's also much cleaner looking installed. 50 years of improved manufacturing materials and processes go in to making these babies, compared to the originals. Tons of needles and seats available off the shelf from SU to accommodate any project. We should have dyno numbers soon that compare the original hs6 carbs to ours. Here's an installation we did for a customer, it's a super-clean 260Z. In the picture, the choke cables and air cleaner are not installed. NewZed
Why are you not posting on classiczcars.com? Hybridz is the site where people are most likely to remove their SU's and sell them.
juxsa
Those look killer!!! Do they suffer from fuel percolation problems like the old round tops?

We haven't had any problems with it so far, I think the flow through fuel bowl helps quite a bit.
