John1jz
Hi all. I'm building a L30 stroker engine that's mainly for the road with a little non competitive track use. I have pretty much all the components ready but need to choose an oil pan. As the engine has been built up from parts and I did not start with a complete engine, I do not have a spare OEM pan to use so I'm looking at aftermarket. As I'm doing so I feel I may as well choose a pan with better oil control. The AZC cast pan looks to be the cheapest at $499 with the Moroso second at around $800. Are there any others in this price range that I should consider?
theczechone
I'm Also looking for an oil pan but currently pondering whether i should just modify an oem pan. Other than the two listed there is also the Corsa pan for 850 shipped probably more for shipping to England. and also the DP racing competition unit at an astronomical 1600 http://www.dpracing.co/engine
JohnH
I'm also interested in the Moroso oil pan. Does anyone know the width dimensions of the pan reservoir? Descriptions have it at 6.25'' deep with no width measurements. I'm concerned about exhaust routing interference as I have a 3/4" Nismo style SS header. rjracin240
Would consider looking around at some Laurel pans, or other cars that had a L6 pan and mod one unless you get lucky and find a LD28 center sump pan
grannyknot
You could try one of these, ArizonaZcar and Whitehead Performance carry them.
