jap tin
I have a early 71 240Z with a Scarab kit, 327 4 speed. I'm looking at the McLeod 5 speed transmission as it looks to be almost a direct replacemant for the super T-10 I have now. Anyone use this transmission yet ? Michael
This looks like a novelty. Based on the physical size and the gear ratios, it looks to be a direct competitor to the G-Force revision of the venerable T5 (https://www.gforcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-5.asp)... prices are similar. The G-Force version appears to have slightly higher torque/hp capacity. Let is know what you think of it!
jap tin
Came out pretty good, no cutting of the drive shaft . Had to make a new trans crossmember but worth it. 1500 rpm at 55 mph and 1900 rpm at 70 mph. Much more fun drive down the freeway now.
