hatepotholez
I’m having an issue where the door panel is hitting the weatherstripping. Is this common? I am trying to figure out a way to squeeze it so the door panel won’t hit it. Only way I can think of is cutting the weatherstrip where the door panel is hitting it. Thx! madkaw
Let me guess - MSA weatherstrip ?
hatepotholez
No, I think it was precision or vintage rubber. Something like that. I have to check.
hatepotholez
Yes, it was precision.
madkaw
MSA sells Precision . Vintage is not much better when it comes to that issue. Kia seals help solve that issue for me
hatepotholez
Thanks! I’ll look into the Kia ones
toolman
hatepotholez, I had a similar problem with new Precision Door Weatherstripping as you. I fixed it in one day and did not spent any money on the repair. I will post how I did it in my next post -V8 Z forum Gen III & IV Chev V8Z coming soon. Check it out!
