Sanchez Posted November 12, 2022 Share Posted November 12, 2022 Interesting… I can’t remember what year your Z is, but my late model year 73 240Z did not have any seals around the door switches. I was planning on doing away with them to simplify the wiring since we basically carry a flashlight built into our phones now, And living in the city I never felt like the courtesy lights made things brighter than the streets already are. It kinda looks like their purpose is to reduce shock to the plastic on the switch and keep it from fully bottoming out of the door is slammed.
