SleeperZ
I'm putting together a junkyard L28ET with a P90A, and it has dual valve springs. BTW, unless I'm hallucinating, this P90A doesn't have hydraulic lifters - looks identical to my P90.
scottyMIz
wow it should have hydraulic lifters unless someone changed them.I know a guy looking to change his hydro ones to regular ones so he can run higher boost from what you said he should be able to swap them easy.Oh ya thanks for confirming the dual spring thing
Z-Gad
The hydraulic lifters for all intensive purposes look identical to the normal ones. I compared my turbo lifters to non-turbo and I couldn't tell them apart. go figure...
Ben
All 'L' series engines run dual springs.
Guest Tom Scala
Some P90A's had adjustable valves. I've heard early 1983 castings came that way and later in the run they changed to hydraulic lash adjusters. I have a hydraulic head and a P90 and there is no mistaking the two. They look completely different.
Z-Gad
My bad...I meant to refer to the hydraulic rockers being very similar to the non hydraulic. The lifters are a completely different animal and you are right, there's no mistaking them.
