where can I find a T3 to T4 adapter

I'm going to just put T4 rather than hybrid T3/T4 on my turbo motor that I'm building. So with the stock manifold, I would need a adapter to change the manifold flange to T4 bolt pattern right? Well, anybody know where I'm going to be able to find an adapter. I can weld it in in worst case.

 

.93 ex/.60 comp. with P-trim is too big isn't it? I saw one at the ebay.

Yo, you need a .58 housing for a p trim. If you can buy the turbo for cheap, buy it and we will get a .58 housing and swap the housing. I can help you do that.

 

I have a manifold set up for a t4. You are welcome to look at it or borrow it or whatever. Cartech and turbonetics should be able to get you straight with an adapter or a flange.

I've heard that Turbo & Electric sells a t04 exhaust flange, call 1-800-738-8726 and ask for Scott. They are located in Phoenix.

 

You could probably weld the new flang on over the old one then port it out, or do what others have done and use the old port as a place for the waste gate, and punch out a hole further forward on the exhaust manifold for the turbo.

LJ, I might have to borrow the adapter or copy one off the one you got. It's $350 now. That's not too bad for new Rotomaster. check it and out and tell what you think.

Considering the stock T3 turbine is a .63 A/R, the T4 A/R of .93 sounds way too big. I am not too knowledgable on turbine selection, but if I had no guidance, I'd pick a T4 of .63 or smaller on the exhaust.
