zxjuiced
DOES ANYBODY MAKE A SUPERCHARGER KIT FOR THE L-28 THAT BOLTS ON TO THE SIDE OF THE BLOCK AND YOU STILL OBTAIN YOUR ORIGINAL INTAKE AND FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM ??? DON`T WANT THE SET-UP THAT JCR SELLS.. AND OR IS ANYONE RUNNING A 4-BARREL INTAKE AND CARB WITH A AFTERMARKET SUPERCHARGER...THANKS
Mudge
I dont know how a blower would mount to the side of the block, since it needs to steal power from the engine to make boost. Go turbo
SleeperZ
THE ANSWER IS NO ONE SELLS A SUPERCHARGER KIT BESIDES JCR. You will need to fabricate one. A supercharger from a GM or Ford 3.6 liter V6 would be a good choice as you could spin it at the same speed and get plenty of airflow. Guest Anonymous
I don't think anyone makes a kit anymore. The best way to do it would be to use a centrifugal style and mount it where the A/C is. For these cars it seems the turbo is the way to go. You could make more power much more eaisly and for less money really. I really wanted to do that as well but, just recently bought a whole turbo motor and have begun that project. Ayway, good luck what ever you do.
