Mikelly
Well I've decided that I'm gonna be looking for a new Job elsewhere in the Government/ Consulting arena. I've had my name cleared from last years issues, and I'm doing a good job now. However, my current customer is going through some changes and our contract is being merged with two others and I won't be on the "Prime" contracting team. For managers that can be a problem... So I'm going to be interviewing with some other companies this week... After 6 years with one company I guess I'm due a change, No? Wish me luck guys... Sumo
Considering the troubles you had in the past a change is indeed needed, but with todays economy and job market i hope you can find something that you like.
Guest Want aZ
Mike, I definately feel your pain, as I am employed by the Govt for another year anyway, then I must retire as I am in the military. After doing this for 20 yrs, its going to be a little scary. But I have an assoc degree in Const Mgt. and am still working on my Engineering Mgt degree, but unfortunatly will not have it complete by March of 04 when I will retire.... MYRON
Hey Mike, Go for the change brother!. I too was with a company for 6 years when I quit. I have since been through 2 jobs but I have recently discovered a much easier way to make money! I am currently selling Computer wafer type machines. There is a ton of money in it and it is a very interesting industry. I sold a Phillips Scanning Electron Microscope as scrap the other day in 2 hours time and I made 1000.00 bones! I have another thing that is going to revolutionize the auto alignment industry.... I will post a new topic about that one to see what kind of feed back I get.... I also have interest from two other companies... Location and pay are issues, but benefits are key as well... Tim, I'm with you on the Grass is just another hue on the other side... I'm very fortunate to have the job and income I currently do. I also have a pretty good gig here... Just would like a change IF it is reaosnable to do so.
