ratedZ
Yep, I almost crapped my pants when I came back from getting drinks inside the store and noticed that it almost cost 40 bucks to fill up my Z. Damn, I feel like I should be driving an SUV. And what sucks is that I can only afford to use 89 + some octaine boost in a bottle. These gas prices are crazy. I'd prolly end up spending 50 bucks for the primium. I honestly can't see how some of these guys with big cars can afford these gas prices. I'm sure a lot of you guys are paying around the same for gas...I had to slap my self when the thought of buying a Honda as a daily driver crossed my mind
Tim240z
Yeah, pretty much sucks! $2.30+ here in the LA area for 91 octane. Tim
spdsk8r
Our gas prices just dropped this week. $1.67 for 91 octane.
Guest Your Car is Slow
I bought a lil 90 CRX as a daily driver this past weekend. 45+ mpg..runs on 87octane. Cost me 400 bucks for the car...itll pay for itself within a few months. Sure beats drivin my ram....16mpg on 89 octane is for the birds! Mudge
89 + some octaine boost in a bottle. DO NOT waste your money on that crap, going from 89 to 89.3 isn't going to do a damn thing, it would be cheaper to buy premium. OR just buy a gallon or two of Tolulene for $8-$11. I saw $2.24 for premium this morning, sad to say that is after it has gone down. Just a handfull of years ago it was 1.35 and I was waiting for it to drop again, now a few extra cents doesn't seem like a big deal versus a whole freaking buck!!! ratedZ
Well...as you can see the prices here has not gone down. The additive is only a $1.80 at Wally World and I just put it in because I feel guilty putting this crap in my Z (89 octane). She's used to 91 octane and this is the first time she's been using the cheap crap. I've heard about Tolulene but kinda affraid of mixing this stuff in my garage as I've read that it's nasty stuff. BUT if prices don't get any cheaper I will have to give it a try as intercooled or not 15psi with crap gas ain't cuttin it... ps...I've extremely jealous of you guys getting lower gas prices
Mudge
Premium is about 10 cents a gallon more here, so for $1.80 that would buy me 18 gallons of 91 instead of 89, hence why I said it was a waste That tiny little bottle will raise you maybe 3 points, it is not a magic potion, people somehow think 3 points means 92-94 octane which is by far not going to happen. Just wanted to make sure you were aware

Guest Your Car is Slow
Saw 1.89 as the cheapest premium here in florida...average is in the mid 1.90s. Then again..we have no state income tax...so it all works out

Moridin
The Chevron next to my house is around $2.40 for premium. $2.16 for crappy 87 octane. The Cobra is definitely a little expensive to fill at $2.40 a gallon. Glad I drive the Honda most of the time, because of the crap gas and good milage.
