What about the buick GN intercoolers? what about the smaller NPR intercoolers. Are these hard to plum? Just trying to get some sugestions for when I will be turboing my 77 stroker.. Thanks..!!!! Clifton
I was running one. I had a 2.5" outlet to match my TB. I was running 20 psi and made a but load of power. I'm now running a Supra intercooler, just becuase I know they flow a little more but The cars was wicked fast with the Conquest.
Lockjaw
The conquest intercooler sucks. I lost 5 psi. Perhaps enlarging the inlets would help, never tried that. Try the griffen from Raod Race Engineering. In and out on the same side, and not that pricey. I am running a spearco 221 and will let you know how it does when the car is up. The griffen is similar, just not as thick. BUy a good intercooler and be happy about it. [/code]
