Guest zline
I'm building a new motor ... 3.1L high comp n/a and i want to fuel inject it, but i also want individual throttles.... does anyone know who/where i can find some info about this? TWM sells individuals for our cars along with a fuel rail...and fuel rail materials...so i can just make my own if need be, but any info is better than no info so i figured i'd ask first. TIA Daniel
Lockjaw
That is the only place where you can get the throttle bodies that I know of. You may find them somewhere else, I am sure topend carries them, but you may pay more for them there, since they likely bought them from TWM. You could also check with AEM, they may have them. I used to get all my webber stuff from them.
Guest JAMIE T
I posted a question about them a few months back. I didn't get ANY useful information from anyone on this board. Mostly just nagging about whether it was worth it or not. I don't care if it is worth it or not, I still want some. I've got the perfect triple intake manifold for those TB's. I remember seeing some very rare HKS side draft replacement TB's on Ebay last year. I wish I had gotten them then. Pricey, but I think they went for less than the TWM's new

Regardless of if its worth it or not, ITB on a big cam, high comp stroker engine is how to create the power...the more air you can shove in a n/a engine the more power you can make. 240Z Turbo
My buddies shop will beat most prices you will find on the Tripple throttle body injection. You can fab your own rail as I fabbed one for TimZ, but it is much easier to just buy one and they are very nice. Call my buddies shop and ask for Shaun. Tell him to give you the Thagard Discount of Z folks. Shaun 850-671-1596
Guest JAMIE T
Thanks James! As for TWM, and their own set-up. Yes, and no. You can get a complete intake, TB's, horns, fuel ral set-up from them. Or, if you have everything else you need, then just get the TB's. They sell throttle bodies to replace most high performance Weber styles including DCOE, and IDA's(down draft like for a V8 or Ferrari). So, I'm sure they can be bought individualy. Guest zline
Yeah James thanks a bundle! I plan to use all TWM parts because they're all from the same company so if something should happen I only have 1 person to deal with, it just makes my life that much easier. Also I look at it this way, all the parts are coming from the same mfg, therefore they should work flawlessly...am I right on this?
slownrusty
Drooool...this is from that ultra clean 240Z/S30 in Japan right? Imagine the individual TB and forced induction! Yasin
