auxilary Posted May 23, 2003 Share Posted May 23, 2003 not familiar with the 96 and up toyota 4 runner calipers, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't work. The two types you can use are 79-83 4 piston S12 units, which are direct bolt on using non-vented datsun disks, and the 84-86 s12w units which are wider and accept a 300zx vented rotor mounted with a 1/2" spacer. j260z Posted May 24, 2003 Share Posted May 24, 2003 this is the list i have. 1979-85 Toyota 4X4 4 cylinder pickup with solid rotor, front calipers marked ‘S12+8’ OR 1986-88 Toyota 4X4 4 cylinder pickup with vented rotor, front calipers marked ‘S12+8’ 1988-92 Toyota 4X4 V6 pickup front calipers marked ‘S12W’ with vented rotors OR 1995-00 Toyota 4-Runner 4X4 V6 front calipers marked ‘S13WB’ with vented rotors i got this list from brokebolt so i cannot vouch for it but i can say i'm using the 88 toyota 4x4 V6 calipers marked 'S12W' Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
