Greg SmileZ
Please any ideas..... I have a '77 with 350 and a T-56, and a stock rearend. Just fired it up a week ago. Under decelleration I get a loud clunking sound from the rear part of the car (rear end, drive shaft, or ?). The rear end was fine with the 6 cylinder...never a problem. Any suggestions??? Thanks - Greg
BRAD D
Take a look at the diff mounts.
Mike C
Front diff mount, mustache bar bushings, control arm bushings, loose gland nut on the strut, worn axle bearings are most of the areas where clunks might occur.
