Ferd/289
I was at the Corvette event at TMS in Ft. Worth. Several of the classic Vette's ie 1957 and 1967 hasd LS1/6-speeds installed. They were awesome. Wondering where I can get this drive train. One vette owner paid $6k ( 4k miiles on wrecked 2002 vette) for the LS1 and T-6, then sold T-6 for $2k since trans would not fit in his '67 stingray. Guest Your Car is Slow
You do realize its the same motor (with a few different doodads) right?
Pop N Wood
You do realize its the same motor (with a few different doodads) right? The engines are close enough, but Corvettes have the tranmission built into the differential (transaxle). The F body's have the nice engine/trans combo a Z needs.
