BRAD D
My car is running, and the clutch is not fully engaging. I am using a RB25 clutch slave, and an OS twin plate clutch hooked up to th e stock clutch master cylinder. What master cylinder can i swap in to give my clutch slave more travel? My slave cylinder says 3/4 on the side of it...
Bob_H
Brad, Go on over to skylinesdownunder.com and post a question asking what size clutch master cylinder a 95 RB25 has? (or whatever year your motor or tranny was - 98?). I'll need to know as well. -Bob
Bob_H
Another option is a larger diameter clutch master cylinder....Don't know what models have a larger diameter though. You might consider posting your entire setup on skylinesdownunder and seeing if anyone else is running an OS twin plate on their RB25. -Bob
BRAD D
Thanks, I will try that. I also think that there is a swap that the chevy guys do that might help.
BRAD D
O.k I orderd a Tilton 7/8" master cyl that is what the T56 guys use. Is it just a bolt up?
evildky
you can get a howe 7/8 master unit from summit for like $40 pop the circlip and put the Z pushrod through the washer re-install circlip and it bolts right up
BRAD D
Thanks for the info I hope I can do the same for the Tilton unit
Guest zline
yeah, im 90% sure you can - tilton parts are rebuildable so tinkering isnt a problem at all just make sure you dont damage the circlip!!
