I also just bought the one made from Grainger parts. Total cost from McMaster-Carr was $23 with shipping. Here is the website that tells how to make the Grainger one and what the part #'s are:

http://pages.cthome.net/gus/mike.html

and order the parts using those #'s at this website: http://www.mcmaster.com

You only need to buy three parts, and drill a tiny hole in one of them, OR you can get a vacuum tee, and an extra line with a restrictor to serve the same purpose as the drilled hole (which is just to relieve pressure and keep it from acting on the wastegate when letting off the throttle). Details on this are here:

http://www.xmission.com/~dempsey/perform/grainger.htm

This page also details an alternate way of adapting the grainger valve to your purpose w/o using the other two parts, but I think the first site has the better method, though it will cost you roughly $10 more. I only use the second page as an idea for the pressure relief hole w/o drilling, as I dont have a drill :)

I haven't gotten to use this in my car yet but I've read enough to know that everyone who's tried this MBC seems to really love it. Supposedly it allows the turbo to spool faster and is very spike resistant if you keep the hoses short. The opinion also seems to be that this type of MBC functions far superiour to bleed type MBC's like the one motorsport sells. Easy to use, easy to make, easy to install..... and damn cheap :)

I really got a kick out of GUS and his hot 12 sec. Dodge Caravan!

I bought the same device from http://www.dawesdevices.com (to lazy to build it myself) Along with his Air/fuel gauge. works fine for me. Around 15 psi plus you may need to either add a washer or streach the spring a bit to add more boost. Good bang for your buck! I even bought my ultraflow muffler because of his muffler test. Really happy with it!

When you guys showed part of his website. I then read he died. Really sorry to hear. He was great guy!
