BRAD D
O.k. before you make fun of me, when I first installed my throttle cable…. I got a person to floor the gas pedal and I grabbed the throttle body(s) pulley to see it was also maxed out. and it was. So now here I am 2-3 weeks later XXXhours on the dyno, wondering why my car is not putting out 390-400HP @ the wheels, only 348…. Now I recheck the throttle pulley. Get my girl friend to floor it and guess what I could turn it another 10-15 percent!! So I adjusted it. Now I think this is a big deal what do you think?? Would it make a big HP jump after? Still have to take it for a spin
fl327
Yes, really big deal, assuming the tps on the rb is variable resistor type, a really really big deal-in terms of power I mean. How did you pull at a dyno and nobody else being able to detect it. 348 with 80 percent throtte is still pretty crazy though. Now I really fear for those tires! BRAD D
I use an sds with a MAP so I dont think it uses the TPS too much. Just to sence load... I think. And yeah I think I can hear my tires cry'n from in side my house, poor bastards
fl327
Oh yeah thats right, SDS. Thats crazy, that explains the 2.1 60fts with the short sidewall tires!
BRAD D
Well, I fixed it and it feels faster..... I guess the next time I'm on the Dyno will tell. Or when I go to the track on the 23rd
SleeperZ
I, for one, am looking forward to the new results.
