Guest Simon
I am planning to use the Wolf 3D v4 ECU for my VG30DET swap does any one have any negative or posative comments for this ecu here is the website for it http://www.wolfems.com.au/ Thanks for your help Simon
260DET
MY FJ20DET engine had a Wolf ECU originally but it proved to be entirely inadequate and impossible to tune properly. Changed to a MoTec, no problems, no comparison. Mind you that was about five years ago, Wolfs are probably a lot better now. I would check with your local dyno tuners to see what they recommend though and then go with the one you trust to see the job through. Guest macks
Ditto, I had a chat to steve about the wolf when the v4 came out, they swore by them and said they're on par with the current spec autronic units. I think autronic are about to bring out a new one (or have already...)
drunkenmaster
They are a very decent unit for the price but for a little bit more you could get a better ecu like the haltech e6k or for a fair bit more autronic and motec. While the wolf is pretty good, I would not put in on level with the autronic SMC
