Mikelly
Well since I have this new job and all this new found wealth and I don't have a mortgage payment for a month, I splurged and bought us new matresses (Both mine and my step son) and I bought a new Ingersol Rand 3HP Oil fed, 60 gallon unit... MUCH Quieter than the Craftsman oil-less unit it is replacing! Now I need to pick up a sheet metal break and I'll be happy for the moment... JMortensen
If that's the stand up unit with wheels to roll around like a dolly then it is the quietest compressor I have ever heard. My buddy has had one for a few years now. I envy you both. Jon
Mikelly
This one doesn't have the wheels... It is fixed stand alone, but is also super quiet. $500 New out the door! Mike
Guest Aaron
Mike, where did you get it? Single stage or two stage? I work for IR (not in Air Solutions though), and that price is compareable to our empoyee discount. When I get closer to finishing my shop, I am looking at the IR model 2340L5. 5HP, 60gal, 2 stage, and I can get it for $851.
Mikelly
I got it from aplace called Tractor Supply Center. It is only a single stage unit, but should be more than enough for my needs... Mike
Guest craig
What are you trying to fabricate now? A decent brake costs a nice chunk of change and takes up a bunch of floor space...
Mikelly
I'm constantly fabricating stuff... With the projects I have going, I could use one to make all kinds of things, from fuel cells to battery boxes to sheetmetal box style flares...
