Nismo280zEd Posted September 24, 2003 Share Posted September 24, 2003 I need somebody to measure the distance from the Dampener to the cross memeber on which the radiator mount... so the distance from the pulley to the radiator plus the width of the radiator. SleeperZ Posted September 24, 2003 Share Posted September 24, 2003 Sorry, i don't have the measurement, but it's hard to find a fan that will squeeze in there. The only way I could fit my Permacool fan was to offset it to the left, to avoid the dampener. Edit: Thinking more about it, I had less clearance from the waterpump pully, and my fan barely clears the dampener. I have a 4 row MSA radiator. I hope I've not misled you. spotfitz Posted September 24, 2003 Share Posted September 24, 2003 With everything installed/stock, in my '77 it appears to be 5 3/4" to the outside edge of the water pump pulley bolts(which sticks out the furthest) to the radiator support.
