Guest jjohart
Hi, there've been various posts, esp. on the turbo topic, about an HKS afc that goes for $100 or so on Ebay. When I look on Ebay, all I see are HKS vein pressure devices...I can't find any pics/descriptions fitting the air fuel computer people are talking about on this site! A better question is..do I need it at all for my 280ZXT, trying to make 275-300bhp w.o changing injectors, just a progressive fuel control, a better fuel pump, the NPR I/C I have and an MSD blow off valve. Thanks John
fl327
hksusa.com one hard fact to remember, 250rwhp on stock efi seems to be the limit and that is an earned, tuned one. injector size is limiting factor, after all the tuning. you dont need much to get 300hp,
lifegrddude
http://suprastore.com/hkssupafrair.html There are bunch more fuel controllers at this site, this is the one you were requesting though right? If you want to make 300 hp, you'll need to upgrade at least to 370's to be safe. 270's will be stuck at max duty cycle and I don't think that's too good for the injectors. Guest bastaad525
And you gotta upgrade the fuel pump... this is looking more and more important to me.
Clifton
For a little more you can get a used HKS AIC one Ebay, still run the stock injectors and make big hp. That's how I did it before I got the SDS. 6 stock L28 turbo injectors and 2 550cc's with the AIC. You are only going to get so much out of a 270cc injector, and what there is still is not enough.
