Brad-ManQ45
After seqrching here and zcar.com, I realize that I have a classic case of ignition module starting to fail on my '83 ZXT. It doesn't appear that the HEI conversion is feasible with this distributor - any other suggestions?
fl327
replace the ignition transistor with a stock one, or rewire the 84-89 300zx ign transistor to work with it, pretty easy. i would do the 300zx, as that ign transistor on s130 is 100.00 or so. The distributors and ECUs are completely different.
Brad-ManQ45
I believe it is in the distributor...
SleeperZ
I believe it is in the distributor... In that case, it is not an ignition module, it's the CAS. It's bad, the car will not run AT ALL.
