David K
I love many cars, but it all comes down to the Bugatti Veryon for me. While the Veyron's power and speed figures are astounding, so too is the acceleration - between 2200 and 5500rpm it makes an 922lb/ft of torque - an outrageous feat and one achieved via F1-style and other bleeding-edge technologies such as having not one but two independent engine management computers for each bank of cylinders, and the electromagnetic injection valveswhich make it possible to precisely define when and how much fuel is injected into each combustion chamber. This massive mid-range grunt allows the Veyron to accelerate from standstill to 300kmh in under 14 seconds. But the performance is only one facet of this diamond. The array of unique features within the car are commensurate with the AUS$2 million price tag and include a specially designed 7-speed gearbox, an aerodynamic mono-coque body complete with fully-panelled undertray and a rear spoiler which changes position according to the speed range of the car. Even the hi-fi system was designed in conjunction with the body shape. There is nothing ordinary about this car - when it goes on sale next year, it will be the fastest and most expensive production car in history. PETEW
The interior and engine of the car are awsome. I'm sure the performance is something I can't even dream about, but the outside is just not for me. Too busy and bulbous, sorry guys looks ugly. Guest ZmeFly
and the Rb26 can be had to make more. HEHE I would still opt if I had the money for such a car to own the Mc Laren F1 before that anyday.

Chaparral2f
That's right, just go out and buy one of those, and the next thing we'll hear is that you lost interest in you Z. BTW, how will it look on Jack stands??
gramercyjam
I've always wondered what a chopped down 240Z would look like from the back. Now I know!
Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
Geez, Is there a highway like the autobahn over in Australia? Why on Earth would a car with those performance specs be built for the road?
Tim240z
Geez' date=' Is there a highway like the autobahn over in Australia? Why on Earth would a car with those performance specs be built for the road?[/quote'] The same reason we all build rediculously high HP Zs. Bragging rights, and, most importantly.....because we can!! Dave240Z
Also worth noting is that the gauges shown here have DIAMONDS in the center of the dial. Those gauges are also POWER METERS which tell you how much power is still available. Crazy stuff. It almost crashed at Laguna a few months ago as well something about too much power I think. BayAreaZT
They took that car out at laguna seca and the driver spun it The Bugatti people must have wet their pants when they saw that happen. W16 quad turbo is pretty awsome though.
SpeedRacer
Autobahn in Australia? I think I missed something. Bugatti is owned by Volkswagen and they definitely have Autobahn's to drive the Veyron on. Same reason they build McLaren F1 and Ferrari Enzo supercars - because they project an image AND people will buy them.
Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
My mistake, is AUS Austria then?
