Guest ON3GO
i know there has been other threads about other cool cars and i looked threw them looking for cars i also like. My uncle is thinking about opening a shop and my father and I had a idea of building cars like Z's, old BMW's, Alfa Romeo's, Austin Healey's, and etc into like Hybrid cars, different motor swaps and also just a resto type shop. so far i have a list of cars that i think would be nice/different cars for him to deal with.. here is what i have.. Datsun - Z's and 510's and also Fairlady Roadsters. Austin Healey 3000 MKII BJ7 (like 1963's and etc) Alfa Roemo GTV 2000 (1974), and Giulia Spider (1962). BMW - 2002's and E30 M3's. Delorean DMC-12. Opel GT's. Porsche 356 Speedsters. Nissan - S13 240sx's, Z31's, Z32's, 200sx's. Mazda - Miatas, RX-3's, FC RX7's. VW Beetles (old ones) and other cool old or newish cars that would make nice project cars? he wants to stay away from American cars as theres plenty of shops that work on just those type of cars. also whats some other cars that would be just cool to own? like ones you dont see alot. i love the Lancia Delta Integrale HF, the one with the 16v 2.0 turbo motor.. such a cool car. what you guys think and whats your picks on cool cars? pics would help too! thanks mike

The_R1_Kid
The Volkswagen, Corrado there are 3 or 4 of these running around my area very cool looking in person ,and I had the pleasure of aligning a highly tuned example with a list as long as your arm in performance mods. It had to be one of the most nimble and quickest cars I have ever driven.

Jay1970Z
If you like Deloreans how bout a Bricklin SV-1. Built in very limited quantities in 1975-76 in New Brunswick, Canada and came with either an AMC V8 (360 I think) or a Ford 351W. They are pretty cool looking and sport some cool gullwing doors. If one came along I'd probably buy it, I guess I just like weird stuff like that.

jonzer12
My dad used to have a healy with a jag i-6 in it, it had over 300hp and that thing flew till he rolled it. Personally i think the healey looks a bit to old school for my taste but they are great cars. Other than that, an original mini is a great choice, there are 5 in my family and no matter what people say about their size the minute you take that 90 degree corner at 3 times the legal limit you have instant respect. There are some good looking old fiats around too...
