Phantom
Interesting, but now I think I want the new LS2. More cubes, more HP & Torque and better fuel economy than the stock LS1.
jeromio
If you poke around ls1tech.com there's lots of info on various ways of getting more performance out of an LS1. Actually, you're in luck because there are quite a few tuners in Texas. Personally, I have yet to get used to the car with a totally stock, un-tuned LS1. I'll be addressing tire issues (wider wheels and flares) before climbing any further up the power ladder.

Guest zfan
Not sure if you LS1 guy's are aware but Air Flow Research just became the first to come out with after market LS1 heads that make crazy hp gains. They flow like 300 plus cfm at 550 lift. Oh, and only 2300 bucks a pair. Mike
mas28O
I want to have my LS1 running in 4-5 months, I think that I will go with some ported ls6 heads over the AFR's. They flow over 300cfm ported.
Scottie-GNZ
$15K I love the LS1 but that engine cost more than my whole car is worth :D and I am making about 80hp more! Maybe I am just too cheap to lay out that kind of green.

Yeah Phantom, you should get a new LS2 and then you can give me your LS1! Kill two birds with one stone...get rid of the old engine and get a new one!
