LS1 options

Recommended Posts

If you poke around ls1tech.com there's lots of info on various ways of getting more performance out of an LS1. Actually, you're in luck because there are quite a few tuners in Texas.

Personally, I have yet to get used to the car with a totally stock, un-tuned LS1. I'll be addressing tire issues (wider wheels and flares) before climbing any further up the power ladder.

Not sure if you LS1 guy's are aware but Air Flow Research just became the first to come out with after market LS1 heads that make crazy hp gains.

They flow like 300 plus cfm at 550 lift. Oh, and only 2300 bucks a pair.

Interesting, but now I think I want the new LS2. More cubes, more HP & Torque and better fuel economy than the stock LS1.

Yeah Phantom, you should get a new LS2 and then you can give me your LS1! Kill two birds with one stone...get rid of the old engine and get a new one! :D
