Guest VETTETEK
Well guys, I just wanted to drop a quick note and say the website is back up after a 2 month hiatas due to letting our URL lapse. Thats right! http://WWW.FASTASSDATSUN.COM is back in the game! They wanted a buttload of money for the name, so I decided to wait the 2 month grace period before reregistering it. Anyhow, The site is up again and its mostly stocked up with pictures and sections. I was able to salvage all the old pages, and reformat them for the new site. There are multiple sections now, and It might be a little confusing, but we are working it all out as we speak. The latest news on our project (and we actually DO have latest news) is now posted in the Forum sectionn. Im going to see if this makes it alot easier to post....which will result in more frequent posts! Please take the time to register if you are interested in our project, and do frequent the site. We would love to hear from you. We look forward to seeing you all! V~

Guest VETTETEK
Time of completion.....HMMMMM....thats a good one. This project started in August of 1999. It was originally supposed to be just an engine transplant, and some paint. Who would have guessed?! I am HOPING to get it done by next summer (2005). But well see upon finances. We are estamating aprox. $40,000 to build this car. we are already half way there ($10k in the engine, $5k in the frame, ect). But at least it will give more conversation topics for the next year and a half! V~
V8ZRACER260Z
Good to see you guy's back in action. The frame looks great! I like the new website format also. You can check out my album pics as I am doing the same set up with my Z. I'm starting to do the floors & firewall on my Z. Alot of welding & riviting to come, but the sesult is going to be well worth all the effort. You may want to do a diag brace at the front of you kick out like I did on mine. It will stiffen up that area alot with out interfering with the tires. Look closely behind the tire and you'll see what I am talking about. Don't worry these rims & tire are just to roll it around. I am ordering a set of CC wheels. 17x10's front & 17x12's in the back.
Guest VETTETEK
Wow, It looks like your moving right along as well! I checked out the pics you have posted in the gallery. Pretty nice. I am thinking about sectioning off a bit of our site for other peoples projects as well. You know, Enough space for a writup, and some pics. As soon as I get it going, Ill have you send some info over (if you want to that is!). We took about 20 pics last night while getting "fitted", and Ill be putting `em up today. I did speak with our frame engineer about that extra bar there, he said the way hes got it, he wont need it. But thatnks for the advice, any little bit helps!
