love-my-V8-280Z Posted February 12, 2004 Share Posted February 12, 2004 I have removed the oil cooler from my LT1 and now would like to remove the tube that protrudes from the front of the water pump that feed the oil filter. MYRON Posted February 12, 2004 Share Posted February 12, 2004 I have an LT1 water pump sitting on my bench and for the life of me I cant figure which tube your talking about. I have a 97 so maybe you have a different year.... I have the heater lines and radiator lines, but no oil cooler lines... Can you post a pic? My motor came in a busted up camero and I'm not very sure were the all these cooling line run. its the tube on the front to the right pointing right. Tim240z Posted February 13, 2004 Share Posted February 13, 2004 I capped both outlets on the water pump. One goes to the heater, and one goes to the radiator hose. VRJoe Posted February 13, 2004 Share Posted February 13, 2004 If you go out to http://www.fierolt1.com/technical_documents_main.htm then scroll to the bottom there's a diagram of what they did for the cooling lines for the fiero. that may help.
