David K
Hi guys. I want to share my brake cooling setup that we use on our current 77. We built them mainly for use on our old 77 280z race car that only saw open track events at Buttonwillow. This setup is using the MSA 50-1412 front air dam with ducts. All peices are aluminum. This will hold up to street abuse 8) MSA 50-1412 Air directed into ducts Duct tubes attach to back of air dam by small screw/nut combos Close up of hoses secured to ducts with basic worm gear clamps. Regular swimming pool grade hose runs back to the brake cooler distribution boxes. These are bolted to the inner wheel well with small screw/nut combos. The boxes distribute the air to the front of the inner rotor, and the rear of the inner rotor. Duct tube closeup. Passenger side airbox inlets. Passenger side airbox outlets. Left, passenger side cooler box. Right, drivers side cooler box. This setup is 100% street durable, no ifs ands or buts. The air hoses are held to the inner wheel well by a heater hose type clamp like the one pictured here I would consider making some more, only if i can get my hands on welder again! Enjoy! 8)

260DET
Excellent display, David. Looks like you have solved the 'where can I fit this large ducting hose in' problem by using two smaller hoses each side.

Guest 280ZForce
Yo Dave, I know this is an old thread... but can you re-up these lost pics please. I'm looking into brake ducting and can't remember the pics off hand and I think it'd be beneficial to others as well. Thanks - J
