It was sooooo close. Darn thing just couldn't quite get there. For those of you that saw the car in SoCal when I was down for John's welding get together, here's the dyno sheet that I ended up with. Like I said, so close. Maybe a little more cooling off next time.

At least I've talked my dad into a catted X-pipe. Hopefully, that will put us over the top for sure next time.

Now if I could just figure out how to sneak this motor out and put it in my Z without anyone noticing.

Its an 03 with all the problems. Here comes the list

Power related:

2.80" pulley

Apten ported blower

Billetflow Stealth idler

Accufab throttle body

Steeda intake

JBA short headers

Magnaflow cat-back

Diablosport Predator with a Shawn Ellis custom tune (http://www.socaldiablo.com)

Driveline:

Centerforce flywheel

Centerforce dual-friction clutch for 26 spline input shaft (about half the pedal pressure of the stock piece and it holds much better)

Liberty Gear 26 spline input shaft (A hard launch with anything close to 500RWHP should twist it to pieces)

Pro 5.0 shifter and MGW handle (greatest mod ever)

UPR 3 position clutch quadrant (a must if you want you throw-out bearing to last) and extreme firewall adjuster

I'm trying to talk my dad into a Torsen T2-R diff, because our stock Eaton unit is a piece. Way too much free play in it

Maybe some Level 2 or Level 5 half-shafts to make sure we don't break anything

Suspension:

Maier's Racing subframe connectors (can't get anything better)

Maximum Motorsports coil-overs

New bushings will probably make their way here soon

Brakes:

Nothing yet, because we don't track the car. I'm going to bug my dad to snag a set of Cobra R Brembos and some KVR carbon pads (hope I'm saying the right thing there)

Misc:

Apten head coolant mod (It allows coolant flow out of the back of the neglected head. If you're pushing power and heat levels, this is another must, otherwise you'll fry the head)

I'm probably forgeting a few, but the beauty of this car is that my mom drives it to work daily

Oh...I just figured out why it hasn't been all that quick when shifting into third. I've been in and out of traction control the whole time. Just not hard enough for it nose dive like it did tonight.

I still remember my mom saying this "I was driving home today and this green snail kept flashing on and off on the dash. I pulled over to see if anything was wrong, so I called you (me at the time). I had the gas pushed down and the car wasn't going anywhere and the green light was flashing the whole time. Is there something wrong with the car?" :burnout: :burnout:

I had to explain to her that the green snail looking thing was the car telling her it was the traction control coming on to keep her from spinning the tires. Boy did I get a laugh out of that one. I'm actually still laughing about that one :lol::lol::lol:

My best friend is over in Iraq right now for the Army Reserves, and when he comes back he wants to buy a new car....He told me that he wants to buy a new Celcia GT-S. So I looked up the specs on that car...$24,000 for a 180HP 4cylinder! Not my idea of bang for the buck! So now I am trying to convince him to get a used 03' Mustang Cobra! Yeah 390HP for some where around $23-25K thats more like it! :D I told him with a few mods it would be faster than my car!

How much do those cars weight anyways?(03')
