jimszx Posted April 23, 2004 Share Posted April 23, 2004 My 79 280zx is stock I haven't collected all the pieces needed for my hybridZ conversion. My engine has high milage 204000+ and has had good oil pressure for as long as I have owned it. But today on the way home from work I noticed that when I stopped at a light my oil pressure gage dropped to almost nothing. As I accelerated away from the light at about 2000 rpm the pressure came back up to normal. This continued all the way home. I am guessing my oil pump may be going out. Any ideas?
