Owen
Awesome! What are you going to do to keep debris out of the turbos mounted way down there? Also, is it me or are the exhaust manifolds "censored"? Owen

240Z Turbo
Yes, the pics are "censored", but it was not my decision. The guy I am doing this for does not want some things to be revealed. Apparently, there is some competition to develop the twin turbo kit for the ZR1....Sorry This car belongs to a gentleman named Wayne. It is a Corvette ZR1 that we have set out to twin turbocharge. The car is being built at South Georgia Corvette Specialists in Thomasville, GA. I was called by the shop owner Aaron and asked if I would like to take over this project that was initially started by another fellow who got in over his head. I am fabricating the entire setup from scratch. The exhaust manifolds are 321SS and feed a pair of modied GT30R turbochargers. The manifolds also plumb a pair of Tial 38mm wastegates that dump back into the 3" 304SS downpipes. The downpipes are attached to inconel expansion bellows from SPD and are connected to the exhaust with a pair of http://www.turbohoses.com v-band clamps. Again, sorry for the blacked out portions, but the owner asked that I keep some parts confidential as to the approach. The turbos will feed a pair of 2.25" intercooler pipes through a custom air-air intercooler. This is a stage I motor meaning stock motor and is expected to make 650hp@wheels and 800+hp@wheels on the stage II setup. Stage II is lower compression pistons, headwork and cams. I will update the pictures as we make progress.
