Jumbo240ez
ArizonaZcar, nice looking stuff. Any idea how much the r200 version weighs? Thanks. Jon
EvilRufusKay
How about the suggestion of making one for lsd swaps with clearence for the finned cover? I just bought an R200 LSD and would definatley pick one of these up if it worked for my application. I would even be willing to send a deposit for a custom job if it would help. arizonazcar
My Billet R-200 must. bar does clear the finned cover, it's the rear brace that's in the way.....we will be addressing that issue very shortly. Dave

Mike Mileski
Dave, how are the differential mounting holes in the R230 bar located, compared to your R200 bar? Higher, lower or at the same level? I know the R230 is larger in size and haven't gotten far enough along in my swap to see if they need to be raised slightly, lowered or can remain at the same level. If you've taken this into account, I may be your next customer for one of these. Mike Mileski Tucson, AZ
arizonazcar
The weight of the Billet aluminum mustache bar is 6 lbs complete with bushings. Dave Arizona Z Car 2043 E. Mike Mileski Tucson, AZ[/quote'] The diff does need to be raised slightly so that the bolts for the CV joints clear the lower control arm...not by much...~1/2 inch or so. arizonazcar
The holes are at the same level but spaced farther apart. Dave
Tim240z
The holes are at the same level but spaced farther apart.Dave Hmmm...Dave, that may be a problem. Have you done any test fitting in a Z-car? It may work, but I know that I had to space mine up a little to clear the lower control arm. If you want to pay round trip shipping, I'd be happy to test fit for you. arizonazcar
The top washers from the bushing will be eliminated (.200 thick) and 1/4 inch can be shaved off the top bushing if necessary. Dave
Tim240z
That ought to do it....
Savage42
So, no version for the R180? I know that you'd sell them to the guys who want it for the practical application and those who just want the "oooh-aaah" factor. I'd think a 510 version would sell to all the guys putting SR20DETs in them!
ToplessZ
Looks beautiful I cant wait to order one. Good to hear your .02 on the board hope to hear more of your expertise. arizonazcar
No version planned for the R-180 as I prefer that R-200 be used where possible. By the way, I'll have a small tent with some of my goodies at the National Z Convention SAT June 19th in Gardena CA if anyone would like to stop by.
