Guest SagZ
Man... talk about a sleeper!!! Anyone know how hard it was to do that swap? If I can't find a rust free (or near rust free) Z ... man that is awefull tempting. Great find.
DavyZ
Nice conversion. Looks stock except for the cowl-induction hood. The "buy it now" price is fair IMO. It has the advantage of being a newer, more 'modern' car over the S30 Z series. Nice daily driver. Davy

Guest Anonymous
Thanks for the complements!! Scottie, The transaxle is doing well. I finally got the courage to (TEST) hammer it really hard. From a stop I've roasted them thru 4th gear! If I dont hit it hard untill 2nd gear it hooks up nice. I live in B'ham, AL but I go to FL EVERY WEEK!!!!!! (panhandle from Panama City to Pensacola) for work. I follow to board almost daily I just dont post much...... Cant wait to build my V8Z soon.................. Tim240z
944LT1, Could you tell me where you got the inlet elbow(s)? I've been looking for something to get rid of the ugly factory acordian (sp) style, but the only thing I have been able to find is the aluminum one from Summit. Thanks, Tim BTW...thanks for all the help with the LT1 wiring over the phone. I struggled through it myself, and am glad I did now, and bought TunerCat to program it, which I really like, too. Guest Anonymous
I drilled a hole from below so you cant see it! BTW it is in the 45 elbow next to the MAF (cooler there!)

Scottie-GNZ
I am going up to SilverDollar Raceways in Reynolds, GA this weekend. There will probably be a few hybrids there. Think you can make it even just to show it? See my post in Announcements for details.
Guest Anonymous
The problem with V8 RX-7s is that practicaly everyone with an RX-7 will hate you. There pretty crazy about their rotors. The owner of Atkins Rotary (they build rotaries and make superchargers) gave me a shirt that had a picture of a rotor. In the hole in the rotor was a no pistons symbol. It's actually pretty funny. He calls pistons pissed ons. Turbos are turdbos. There was a white RX-7 convertible w/ a sbc at Sevenstock 5, and a lot of people were talking "crap" about it. A few people thought it was cool that he could do it, but not cool that he did.
denny411
There are plenty of narrow minded people out there that frown on what we do to Z`s too, but who cares. If I`m building a car for someone else, I`ll do it their way, but if I`m building it for me, It`s none of their damn business. Guest Anonymous
i agree about the rx-7's i love the rotary come on 2 moving parts but have nothing but respect for guys who put V8's in em just like i have nothing but respect for you guys also

Guest m35514h
I was looking into the rx7 swap bc i found a body for 100 bux, and i already had the 350, but i went around town looking for some help at the rx7 shops and the told me flat out that they refused to give me any info on it and to get out of their store. They are freaky about their rotors. A big problem with rx7's is reliablility, and how easy it is to push an rx7 over the limit.
