80LS1T Posted August 15, 2004 Share Posted August 15, 2004 Well when I first installed the autometer gauges in my car I just cut the holes and dropped them in. Then a few months ago I went crazy with the bedliner spray and covered the front of the main cluster with it.....yeah in my head I thought it would look pretty cool but once it was done I realized real quick that it looked like crap! So this weekend I decieded to take care of that! I took out the main cluster to rewire it and make it pretty! I bought 2 6-way connectors at Fleet Farm and wired up the main cluster so that I could pull it out as a whole unit rather than have to fight it with all those wires hanging all over! Then I covered the front of the panel with foam and a leather like material(it might even be leather? I didnt ask when I bought it! LOL). Here are the results.........
