Phantom
I am running KYB's on essentially stock springs. They seem to be fine to me but are kind of considered a "commodity" shock. They do the job but not quite as well as some of the pricier units. I've probably got 50,000 miles on mine now and they are still doing as well as when I first put them on. Guest 2slo4u
I used them on two z's. Liked 'em. Couldn't tell the difference from stock but I think they had lifetime warranties. 81zxturbo 95slobaru
Mikelly
KYBs are pretty much BUDGET struts that are sufficiant for street use, and are probably a few ticks better than the stock units. But if you can swing it, you might want to look at the Tokico Premium non-adjustable struts, or Boges. Both are MUCH better in the valving/ damping/ Rebound area and their seals are much better. Brad-ManQ45
If you have lowering springs, the warranty (KYB) is void...
