Heavy Z
There's a new sport called 'Parkour' - kinda like skateboarding w/o a skateboard - running through a city as fast as you can, jumping walls, acrobatic climbing, etc. Started in Europe, heading here. I've seen some vids but this jump is downright amazing... http://www.le-parkour.com/cyril.mpeg

Of couerse we had a matress where we landed Still not to safe. Why is it that when we are kids there is no fear?
hanomon
As kids we were jumping off the car-port with a big beach umbrella when my younger brother wanted a go, we told him he was too light and could blow away. So he goes and gets one of those little folding ones and attempts it. When that thing folds straght up, he plunges like a rock. My cousin and I were laughing our heads off, till we got our bottoms warmed with the fragments of that umbrella.
BillZ260
Doesn't look like there is MUCH ELSE to do there! When we were younger we called it EXTREME WALKING, I don't remember if we picked that name up from TV or if we made it up. We had shoes with plasic inserts in the souls so you could grind stuff. Was ok, but I'd rather turn a wrench...
Vintage-TechZ
Use you cursor to watch it in slow motion a few times.....his tailbone gets a good wack compression, and he's not looking at the camera for a "hey ,wasn't that awesome" response. He's looking away and then looks for his friends Hiku. I've been in martial arts and stunts my whole life, take it from me...it won't be long and his bones will be giving him lessons his father didn't ! It's a damn shame he's not going to be an Olympic hopeful with nerve like that ! thanks for the vidieo, any more ? Where was that vid. from site wise ? .............................Vince
