akeizm
Hey all, I'm ordering in alot of parts from the US at the moment to build up a turbo l28 (I have a spare l28 lying around). I have found a P90 head and Non-Egr 280z Manifold I want to get imported from California to Australia. We have got a price on the shipping and it was claimed to be $440 US dollars to get the head and manifold shipped over here by USPS Air Mail. My questions are: 1) Is that price correct (or in the ball park lets say)? 2) What are the other ways I can get the parts shipped? 3) How would I go about setting up the shipping? Thanks, Marc. Breeze77z
well...you can calculate cost on UPS's website. I did just to see (I picked random zip codes because i don't know the "from" and "to" zips) and i pulled a box weight and dimensions out of my butt, but it was kind of pricey though. try: http://wwwapps.ups.com/calTimeCost?loc=en_US and if that doesn't work right just go to http://www.ups.com and pick your country and then there is a link for calculate time and cost. good luck. Pat.
Sumo
Are you talking about the "United States Postal Service?" or United Parcel Service? I think the usps website will let you calculate and set up for shipping. http://www.usps.com/
ULISES
Hi, Hey that price should be correct. I work for an exporting company. Sometimes I send something that is worth like $100 and the shipping cost goes up to like $200 any way i try you don't save much really. Later! akeizm
Ok thanks guys, a few people have also said that sounds about right. Looks like I'll wait for my next pay check (Wish they released the zxt's here in Aus).
Tim240z
Marc, I ship racing parts to my Dad in South Africa quite often and that price is ballpark. Sorry, Tim
