Guest 305240
Somehow my dream has come to a grinding halt. It seems I've picked up too many Z cars again and have to do something with them. I need some money to finish my baby. Here's what I got to do: 72 240 4 speed- runs but needs a rad and heater core. Also frender flairs removed. Nice car throughout. Has round top carbs. Will need paint. Black interior. It is white now, but? 76 280 4 speed- Needs an engine. I have an good 81 I'm going to put in it. Have to change drivers door and fender, as they have small dents and I have good ones to replace them. Needs paint. Black interior. Also white. 79 280zx 5 speed- needs front air dam, battery and fuel filter. Back hatch glass is broken. I have another hatch. Runs good. Has turbo hood on it. Will also need paint. (maybe not) Tan interior.Turquise. 1984 turbo coupe auto- needs rt rear A arm replaced and lower rear quarter panel pulled back out. Runs good. Will also need paint. Tan interior. Faded red with white stripe. These cars are relatively rust free. They will not be showroom when I'm done, but nice clean drivers. The air will be working on all but the 240. I figure around 2 grand for each of them when I'm done. I will be doing all the work myself, including the paint. I hope I'm not out of the ballpark on the prices. Any coments will be welcome, also colors for the cars

RacnJsn95
So you went and bought that 240, huh Brad? I thought that Joe was gonna buy that 84 turbo coupe? No deal, eh? So you're going to fix all of these up before you sell them, or would you consider selling one the way it sits right now? Let's see some pics of the

Guest 305240
the 72 240 is gone. Happy cruzin Jason! the 79 is gone, replaced with another 81ZXT. While I was under my 76 today, I was amazed at the undercarriage. It's solid!!!!! I couldn't help but think...God, this car needs a V8! My 77 XJS Jag just sets there with the 350 chebby in it....hmmmm.
Gollum
2k doesn't seem out there at all. IMO. I paid 2.2k for my uber clean 280ZX that now looks like a crushed walnut. I mean, any new paint, runs well Z goes for at LEAST 2k on autotrader. You shouldn't have a problem selling them. Now, that Jag with the 350 in it... will it miss the motor? Guest 305240
I got the nose back on my Cobra Z. Man, does it look bad ass just setting there. Even if it does wear 3 different colors right now. I've been collecting some more things I need for it. My friend just gave me an dealership installed A/C for the 240! Yeah!!!!!! I love A/C. Now I just have to load autocad so I can download the wiring diagram for my tuarus 2 speed fan. I want to use both speeds, not just the high. Hmmm, don't really know Gollum. It's sort of setting patiently on the side waiting it's turn. The Lucas wiring system sure leaves something to be desired. Also, found out my harmonic balancer is about to fly off. So, it sets while I work on the other Z cars. My 76 just got an 81 transplant, complete with dizzy upgrade. Thanks Mike and Jason for the help. I found out my 81 turbo has 2 NA injectors in it. Those have to go and a new set of plugs will go in with them. When I got the turbo, it had about 2" of receipts of work done on it. They must have seen that old guy comming! 266k miles....Complete head job...2 diffy changes...2 rebuilt trans...new AFM, new turbo, 2 alt's, 3 water pumps, 2 new sets of rotors and calipers, driveshaft and half shafts rebuilt, new struts. Whole new A/C system, and it blows cold! The guy spent over 11 grand in repairs!
