patzky1
Hey, Bush just said that UAV's make the military more mobile, effective, and facil...? What exactly does that mean? I know the Spanish word fácil means "easy," but I feel like I am missing something. By the way, just asking because you guys are sharp and I'm playing a drinking game where you have to take a swig every time Bush messes up a word or says "axis of evil." JMortensen
I think it was a small gesture to the Spanish speaking community, and a way to show that he has a vocab of more than 50 words. From dictionary.com: fac·ile ( P ) Pronunciation Key (fsl)adj. Done or achieved with little effort or difficulty; easy. See Synonyms at easy. Working, acting, or speaking with effortless ease and fluency. Arrived at without due care, effort, or examination; superficial: proposed a facile solution to a complex problem. Readily manifested, together with an aura of insincerity and lack of depth: a facile slogan devised by politicians. Archaic. Pleasingly mild, as in disposition or manner.
