DaleMX
From the Courtsey Nissan site: Nissan Motorsports 4.111 Ring & Pinion Set. The ring gear has an OD of 200mm (R200), an ID of 128mm and uses a 10mm ring gear bolt with a 1.25 thread pitch. Applications: 1984 - 1989 300ZX 1972 - 1983 240Z, 260Z & 280ZX

JMortensen
I think the Courtesy site is wrong on this one. Here's my understanding. All of the 260-280ZX's used the 10mm ring gear bolts. Somewhere in the middle of the Z31 production possibly in '86 they started using the 12mm bolts. All of the LSDs from Z31T have 12mm carriers. They were 87-89 models. Scottie-GNZ
For sure the LSDs are 12mm.
Sean73
Jmortenson is right. According to the fiche, the 12mm ring gear bolts were introduced in 09/85 on all NA and Turbo Z31s. However, I suspect earlier Z31 turbos might have the 12mm bolts, but haven't confirmed it yet. Sean 73 240Z Turbo
iflyfast1
My R200 came out of an 87 300ZX. It has 12mm bolts.
